8MM DIA X 50MM LOC Carbide Metric End Mill 2 Flute Long Length ALTiN
All Atlas solid carbide end mills are manufactured in the USA with only the highest grade carbide available. This metric end mill has a square end cut with a 8MM diameter and an overall length of 150MM (long length). It has a single end and is center cutting. This cutter has 2 flutes, which is typically used to remove material more quickly than tools with higher flute counts and has a 30° helix that can be used for a wide range of applications. This end mill is ALTiN coated. ALTiN coating is a high performace coating with extremely high thermal stability (750 Degree's C/1350 Degree's F) that is used for milling, tapping and drilling in stainless steels, carbone steels, alloy steels, and cast iron. This coating can be used with or without coolant. It performs exceptionally well in difficult to machine materials and will dramatically increase overall tool life.
