Cobalt (M42) tools are more resistant to abrasion and can be run at higher cutting temperatures and feed rates than the average high speed steel (HSS) tools. This end mill has a Center Cutting end cut and is TiN coated. TiN (Titanium Nitride) coating has a very good corrosion resistance, heat transmission and excellent wear resistance with a wide range of materials, including iron based materials, hardened steels and stainless.
