Our standard HSS tap selection covers Screw & Fractional sizing, Metric threads, Pipe & Pulley Thread Forming taps, and Straight Spiral Flute styles for improved chip control. HSS taps remain the standard choice for general-purpose threading work across a wide range of materials and shop setups, from manual tapping to lower-speed machine tapping.
As with the rest of our tap line, every HSS tap is manufactured in the USA using domestic materials, with same-day shipping on in-stock sizes and a 97% fill rate.
