Carbide Single End
Single end chamfer mills are used to deburr edges and cut precise angled chamfers on machined parts, available in 2 flute flat tip, 2 flute pointed tip, and 4 flute flat tip styles, with included angles from 60° to 120°.
Flat Tip vs. Pointed Tip: Flat tip chamfer mills leave a small flat at the point, useful for controlling chamfer depth consistently. Pointed tip versions cut to a sharp point, useful for fully sharp-edged chamfers or engraving-style work.
Included Angle Selection: The included angle must match the chamfer specified on the print — common angles include 60°, 82°, 90°, 100°, and 120°; confirm the correct angle before ordering.
2 Flute vs. 4 Flute: 2 flute tools clear chips faster and suit deeper or more aggressive chamfering passes; 4 flute tools produce a smoother edge finish for lighter, finishing-pass chamfer work.
