  • General purpose spiral point plug taps 
  • AlTiN coating offers increased wear and heat resistance  
  • Nitride & Steam Oxide finish provides increased surface hardness and acts as a lubricant and also retains liquid lubricant at cutting edge. Prevents chip welding and reduces friction
  • TiN coating provides improved performance in a wide variety of materials, and generally used in applications with lower cutting speeds
  • Steam Oxide finish provides decreased galling and increased lubricity in low carbon steels and gummy materials 
  • Taps are on blanks that meet ANSI specifications
